Loft Living

Paolo Pininfarina is an Italian engineer, designer and manager of the world famous Pininfarina design company. Pininfarina's vision can be seen in collections characterised by the interplay between two totemic elements: wood and metal. Metal takes on the structural function while wood supplies the volume. The Diana bed, the Ardea TV unit and the Fust stools are part of the Loft-Living collection.

Paola moves with ease through different roles, from architect to designer, art director, decorator, writer, teacher, curator of exhibitions and events. Loft Living collection pieces include the Cloudy chair, the Saturn bed and the Gladiator side table, which is part of our Bali Collection. Paola's mind and soul are a combination of flavours and colours of the South – known, loved and lived – together with the taste and forms of the West – rich in traditions, open and continuously in movement.

Born in 1952 in Bolzano, Matteo Thun studied under Oskar Kokoschka at the Salzburg Academy. In 1975 he was awarded his PhD in architecture at the University of Florence. Matteo Thun's Veneto dining table and Ripley bench are part of Loft Living collections and can be sized and finished to suit your space. Crafted in Italy using sustainable wood, Matteo's memorable pieces are at home within our Natura collection.
